Credit One Bank loves rewarding new and existing card members with exciting offers and incentives. This summer, Credit One Bank partnered with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to debut the brand new WWE Champion Credit Card!
Using our consultative approach and Consumer Connect, MRi identified the promotion’s unique purpose for Credit One Bank. They needed an exciting and engaging program with rewards that would grab the attention of passionate wrestling fans across the country. Connecting with this passionate group of fans and offering them a reward they love was our first step to fostering more brand loyal consumers.

When developing this promotion, our experts understood that Credit One Bank needed a campaign to match the electric energy of the WWE fanbase! What’s the perfect prize for wrestling fans? How about two tickets to WWE SummerSlam, scheduled for August 21st, 2021 in Las Vegas!
With the rewards finalized, MRi’s experts developed a sweepstakes as the best tactic to achieve the most engagement possible for the Credit One Bank team. This decision was critical in supporting Credit One’s purpose for running a promotion in the first place. A sweepstakes promotion, in general (but not always) generates a larger quantity of leads for a brand, which is exactly what they set out to do!
Bringing the Program to Life
With the Credit One Bank and WWE SummerSlam sweepstakes, consumers can participate by completing a pre-qualification submission for the new and exciting Credit One Bank WWE Champion credit card! In addition, so as not to exclude current card members, existing card members can participate by opting in to the Sweepstakes via email. At the end of the sweepstakes period, 50 lucky winners will be chosen and awarded with their two tickets to WWE SummerSlam in Las Vegas!
To bring the program to life, MRi developed stunning creative assets, and our digital team created a sweepstakes microsite that resembled the Credit One Bank website, providing all the legal and instructions to help future and existing card members with the promotion. Of course, ensuring a sweepstakes stays legally compliant is critical to protecting the brand running the promotion. Our team poured over the legal rules of the sweepstakes, guaranteeing that Credit One Bank’s program ran without a hiccup.
